DAER South Florida, a 44,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor entertainment complex, is set to debut on Oct. 24 as part of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood's $1.5 billion expansion. The complex includes a dayclub with three pools, a state-of-the-art nightclub, and a rooftop bar.
The dayclub features a resort-style pool, cabanas, private dipping pools, a DJ booth, hot tubs, and VIP bungalow sections. A 40-foot LED screen displays sporting events and concerts, and the DJ booth can be turned to face the dayclub or nightclub as needed.
VIP guests will have access to exclusive amenities such as private bungalows with plunge pools, cabanas, and water couches, with bottle service and food from the Hard Rock's Beach Club Grill. The complex opens one day before Adam Levine and Maroon 5 perform at the revamped Hard Rock Live next door.
“The best part is we can throw a huge party of 2,500-plus people or simply use the day club and make it more intimate: 1,000 people,” Minichino says. Once the dayclub closes at sunset, the 11,120-square-foot nightclub will open, featuring a decorative LED centerpiece, a second 40-foot LED screen, an upgraded sound system, go-go dance platforms, red-leather banquettes and acoustically treated walls.
DAER South Florida marks the first outpost of the DAER Nightclub, which first debuted at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, although Hollywood’s hybrid complex will serve as a template for future Hard Rock expansions, Minichino says.
